Stainless Steel Round Bars & Bright Bars

There are several different grades of stainless steel bright bars, each with its own unique properties and characteristics. Here are some of the most commonly used grades we are able to supply:

  1. Grade 304: This is the most commonly used grade of stainless steel bright bars. It has excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and good formability.

  2. Grade 316: This grade is similar to grade 304, but it contains additional molybdenum, which provides enhanced corrosion resistance in harsh environments.

  3. Grade 303: This grade is specifically designed for machining applications. It has excellent machinability and good corrosion resistance.

  4. SS 321: bright bars are a type of stainless steel bar that contain titanium, which makes them resistant to intergranular corrosion. They are primarily used in high-temperature applications such as aerospace, power generation, and chemical processing industries. SS 321 bright bars have good corrosion resistance, excellent weldability, and high creep strength.

Alloy Steel Ingots

Alloy steel ingots are raw materials used in the production of various alloy steel products, formed through a process known as casting, where molten metal is poured into moulds and allowed to cool and solidify. The resulting ingots have a specific shape and size, typically rectangular or cylindrical, and serve as the initial form for further processing.

We can supply Ingots from 100Kgs to 14 tonnes (single piece) in all major alloy steel grades - American, BS, German and Russian standards.

Continuous cast billets and blooms

Continuous cast billets and blooms are intermediate forms of stainless steel used in the production of various finished products. There are several different grades of stainless steel that can be cast into billets and blooms, each with its own unique properties and characteristics. Here are some of the most commonly used grades:

  1. Austenitic grades: These grades include 304, 316, and 317 stainless steel. They are characterized by their high corrosion resistance and good formability, and are used in a wide range of applications, including food processing, chemical processing, and construction.

  2. Duplex grades: These grades include 2205, 2304, and 2507 stainless steel. They are characterized by their high strength and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride environments. They are commonly used in the oil and gas industry, as well as in chemical processing.

Square and Flat  Bright Bars

Stainless steel square and flat bars come in a range of grades, each with its own unique properties and characteristics.  The most common grades used for square and flat bars we are able to provide :

  1. 304/304L: This is the most commonly used grade for stainless steel square and flat bars. It has excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including food processing, chemical processing, and construction.

  2. 316/316L: This grade has similar properties to 304/304L, but with the addition of molybdenum for improved corrosion resistance in harsher environments, such as marine or coastal applications.

Inconel and Monel Products

Inconel and Monel are two families of nickel-based alloys that are widely used in a variety of high-temperature and corrosive environments. Here are some of the most commonly used grades within each family:

Inconel Grades:

  1. Inconel 600: This grade is a nickel-chromium alloy that offers good resistance to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion. It is commonly used in furnace components, chemical and food processing equipment, and heat exchangers.

  2. Inconel 625: This grade is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that offers high strength and excellent resistance to corrosion and pitting. It is commonly used in marine and offshore environments, aerospace applications, and chemical processing equipment.

Monel Grades:

  1. Monel 400: This grade is a nickel-copper alloy that offers excellent resistance to corrosion in a wide range of environments, including seawater, acids, and alkaline solutions. It is commonly used in marine and offshore environments, chemical processing equipment, and heat exchangers.

  2. Monel K500: This grade is a precipitation-hardening nickel-copper alloy that offers high strength and excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion. It is commonly used in pump shafts, valve components, and oil well tools.

Ship Recycling Scrap

Through our partnership with Elegant Exit Company we are able to offer ship recycling scrap.Ship recycling scrap, also known as shipbreaking, refers to the process of dismantling ships for the purpose of recovering valuable materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, and other metals. The process involves breaking down the ship into its constituent parts, which are then sorted and recycled or sold to various industries. Ship recycling is an important part of the global economy and provides a cost-effective source of raw materials.
